CoCo Learning Technology Research Symposium at the University of Sydney

3 August 2009 One Comment

The Centre for Research on Computer Supported Learning and Cognition (CoCo) at Sydney University recently announced plans for the 2009 Learning Technology Research Symposium taking place October 1st from 10 am to 2 pm.  Several colleagues and I attended the previous symposium held late last year (details from 2008 here) and it was a great event.  If you can spare the time I’d recommend going.

From the CoCo website:

“The Learning Technology Research Symposium is a half-day event inviting the community of researchers and practitioners in ICT-supported learning to exchange ideas, showcase their latest work, and catch up on recent innovations in learning technology research.

Following on the overwhelming success of our past two events, CoCo, the Centre for Research on Computer Supported Learning and Cognition, will be holding another event this year. CoCo is a research centre of the Faculty of Education & Social Work at the University of Sydney.”

It was fantastic to be able to put faces to many of the names I’ve been interacting with online for sometime now, and I’m hoping to have the same opportunity again this year.

There are three different ways you are able to participate – presenting a poster, chairing a round table, or just attending and joining in the discussion.

To register or for more information, please visit the CoCo website.

If you plan on attending be sure to come by and say hello!
