I’m in the midst of getting my head around the 2nd online course I’m taking this session, U. Manitoba’s “Connectivism and Connective Knowledge“, and am curious to see whether any of the 1,600 other students are using Seesmic.
If you are taking the course but haven’t heard of Seesmic yet, below is an example of what Seesmic is and what it does. I’ve also written up several posts about the application, which you can browse here.
Setting you your computer to use Seesmic
Claudia notes in the comments area of this post that she has had some difficulties recording a Seesmic clip and wonders if there are any support materials available that outline the configuration process. I’ll look into this further and will post my findings here, but in the meantime I recorded this quick walk-through that outlines the basics.
You can view the recording full screen by clicking on the monitor icon in the lower right-hand corner of the embedded player below, or visit the file on Blip.TV.

Saludos
Hi Claudia,
I’ll come back to this as soon as I get to work (if I can’t find something I’ll put it together), in the meantime here is an English Translation for Claudia’s comment via Google Translate:
Cheers,
Mike
I’m all about using seesmic, I was actually had brought this up earlier. It seems to combine so many of the attributes being discussed I’m sort of surprised it hasn’t been included yet.
Another thing to consider is disqus as a means for commenters to keep track of their activity. Very interesting combination I think.
