In celebration of the fact that Google Docs finally supports embedded instances of user-created presentations, I have put together a short how-to guide covering the use of this tool and how instances of your presentations can be embedded in you site.

One of my main gripes – which in fact doesn’t cease to gobsmack me – is that YouTube fails to offer RSS feeds anywhere on its site. This is simply unbelievable. The cynic in me says this omission is nothing more than an attempt to steer users past every advertisement they can to maximise their ad revenue.

I’ve yet to be bitten by the legendary Second Life bug, however discussions have been going on ’round the ol’ water cooler on campus as to whether there is a pedagogical potential in this application and two of us finally opted to take the plunge into the virtual world and have a look for ourselves.
